Have a peek at our Yarns!
What a range of natural colors! There is only one that came out of a dye-pot. We have lots of space in our CSA, and we are expecting our fiber back from Fingerlakes Woolen Mill very soon! You can come out for a visit and watch your yarn spun, or take a knitting class! Give us a call, 607.659.5630

Today
fed bunnies, (and lots of other animals),
And took pictures of the gypsey cart in the snow. Isn't it cute in the snow?
Also carded two alpaca fleeces. How does carmel cria sound? It's so soft. and the other one was white, soft pure white like the snow. Carder broke down, waiting to finish. This is the life on our farm.

Hats and our hat designing friend
These hats are some samples of the hats you can take home in your Family share from our fiber CSA.
Handraised, handspun, hand-dyed, and handworked. With the fiber processed from Fingerlakes Fiber Mill. And please meet Lesley, who designs the hats and crochets them herself, she is also a shepherd, with a flock of Icelandic on her little homestead a few miles away from our farm.

Whats new?
Here I am spinning someones fiber share. This happens to be some wonderful alpaca from our friends at
Nyala Farm Alpacas.
www.merriwether.org/nyala/
It doesn't matter what the weather is, the horses ALWAYS appreciate their treats!
In honor of the newest farm members, little piggies. Our daughter has dreamed of pigs for years, now it's a reality with two tucked into the hay in our warm barn. We picked them out two weeks ago, but they weren't ready to come home until this weekend. Every drawing since then has been a, you guessed it, pig. so fun!
